“REFLECTION”
2020.
Glass, mirror, artificial turf, acrylic, lighting, site specific installation. DULGUUN Batbold
The wall covering is made of sun-reflective material like rainbow so that one can see their reflection from the outside and the inside. The artist himself writes that when one sees one’s reflection, one seeks to dis- cover one’s inner world, what human nature is, and how Mongolian nomadic culture worships the sky, the mountains, the water, and to calm the spirits, and how to interact with nature.
A 206-1” THE ARTIFACT OF THE FUTURE 2020
Mixed media
1.05x2m
Artist D.Bat-Erdene on numbers in this work. This work shows the car number plates, but in fact it is about numbers. The history of mathematics is the history of mankind seeking to understand the uni- verse. Mankind did not invent numbers, but simply dis- covered numbers. Numbers are related to all aspects of human life, and our external physical real world can be a large whole mathematical object created by numbers. Someday, the numbers representing every moment of our life will be an artifact for future humanity. We ourselves will turn into artifacts someday like these numbers.

PUPA“
2019
Textile, iron, 49 pieces 160 cm
NOMIN Bold
Her works have a sophisticated Mongolian painting style and a predominant Buddhist meaning, and the depiction of gods. The subtle meanings of the symbols, and the color symbols can be seen in her work.
Her work named Pupa is a butterfly puppet- a puppet between a larva and a butterfly. The concept is the transition from a covered creature to something else. Therefore, it means that you can’t see anything once you put it on, and it’s a bit hard to breathe, so in a word, it’s like meditation. The general idea is to explore the inside of yourself, and then turn into something else after taking this off.
